Unfortunately, Internet Explorer has not received any real attention since 2015, when Microsoft introduced their new web browser Edge. As a result, Internet Explorer does not support modern web technologies, which means that modern websites (such as this one) will not display as intended.

Sdiptech AB (publ) has acquired 91 per cent of the shares in VALE Engineering (York) Ltd. The company has 15 employees and annual revenue of approximately GBP 5 million, with good profitability. The acquisition strengthens Sdiptech’s offering in road maintenance within the Supply Chain & Transportation business area.
Founded in 1999, VALE develops and manufactures specialist equipment for the maintenance of roads, public spaces and other infrastructure. Its largest product area is winter maintenance, including equipment for spreading salt for de-icing and snow ploughs. The company also offers professional weed-control equipment, as well as sports turf maintenance machinery.
The company serves customers across both the public and private sectors, including local authorities, infrastructure contractors and organisations responsible for large facilities. The business is primarily focused on the UK market, with some international exports.
“VALE has established a strong position in the UK market, with competitive and highly specialised products. Its solutions contribute to safer and more efficient maintenance of roads and public spaces. The acquisition of VALE further strengthens our offering in road maintenance and complements our existing operations within Supply Chain & Transportation well,” says Daniel Unge, Head of Supply Chain & Transportation.
“VALE designs and manufactures machines that solve real-world problems. Over the years, we have developed a strong portfolio of specialist products and built a trusted name associated with quality, reliability and ease of use. I’m particularly proud that, together with my family and the entire VALE team, we have built a successful business where our products are designed, engineered and manufactured here in York. Sdiptech’s culture and long-term approach align well with our values,” says James Wilson, Managing Director of VALE.
The aquisition will be included in the Supply Chain & Transportation business area as of September 2026 and the management team will stay the same following the acquisition.
